Refund Policy

Last updated 17 August 2026

We would rather refund you than have you stuck with something that does not work for you.

14-day money back

If a Bear Tools app is not right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of the payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain why.

This applies to first-time purchases and to yearly renewals alike.

Renewals you did not mean to make

If a subscription renewed and you had meant to cancel, tell us within 14 days of the renewal charge and we will refund it and cancel the subscription. Only the most recent renewal is refunded; earlier periods are not.

Something is broken

If an App stops working as described and we cannot fix it for you in a reasonable time, we will refund the unused part of your current billing period, whatever the 14-day window says.

What is not refunded

  • Billing periods that have already been used and were not reported within the windows above.
  • Payments where the product has been resold or the licence shared in breach of the Terms of Service.

How to ask

Email hello@beartools.dev from the address you used to buy, with the order or invoice number from your receipt. That is all we need.

We aim to answer within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Creem, our merchant of record, to the original payment method. Creem normally processes them within 5 business days, though your bank may take a few days more to show the money.

Cancelling instead

You can cancel a subscription at any time from the customer portal linked in your Creem receipt email, or by asking us. Cancelling stops future charges and leaves your access running until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Statutory rights

Where you are a consumer, this policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights — including, in the EU and the UK, the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Nothing here limits those rights.
